Silky Waters

by Charlie Isenhour

I have always enjoyed photographing landscapes. They're challenging with the composition, lighting and exposure. I find waterfalls to be especially pretty with silky smooth water. They add interest and beauty to any landscape.

I started shooting waterfalls five years ago and have photographed dozens since then. The technique using ND filters allows you to experiment and capture different looks with the flowing water.
